It seemed appropriate that the Michigan Wolverines, the defending national champions, would host one of the largest attendances in their program's history on their Pro Day.
Over 150 personnel from all 32 NFL teams were reported to be in attendance. For the Pittsburgh Steelers, their main players were present to watch the Woverines prospects perform: general manager Omar Khan, head coach Mike Tomlin, offensive coordinator Arthur Smith, and defensive coordinator Teryl Austin.
One of the players on their radar, defensive back Mike Sainristil, took reps at wide receiver and had an impressive showing in the 3-cone drill and short shuttle.
Receiver Roman Wilson, whom the Steelers met with at the Senior Bowl, also met with the brass prior to taking the field for his pro day. Wilson posted an impressive 6.75s in the 3-cone drill and a 4.00 short shuttle time.
Apart from Michigan, it was confirmed that the Steelers sent at least one person to the Pro Day in Kentucky, and scouting intern Braunson Williams went to the Pro Day at Boston College. Regarding their attendance at the pro days at Missouri and Florida State, no confirmation was provided.
