Steelers Are Set to Bring Back Mason Rudolph

After testing free agency, the Pittsburgh Steelers are set to re-sign quarterback

Mason Rudolph, per Andrew Fillipponi of 93.7 The Fan.

As it stands, the terms of his return are unknown, but with veteran Mitch Trubisky solidified as the No. 2 quarterback, Rudolph will likely be competing against undrafted free agent Tanner Morgan for the No. 3 quarterback position on the roster.

Last season, Rudolph did not play any snaps after showing promise during training camp and preseason games. His last start was in Week 9 against the Detroit Lions of the 2021 season, when he finished with 30 completions for 242 passing yards and a touchdown in a game that ended in a tie.

Since being drafted 76th overall by the Steelers in 2018, Rudolph has 10 career starts under his belt and has registered 2,366 passing yards with 16 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in 17 career games.
