Boswell Is Quickly Approaching A Big Franchise Milestone

When it comes to consistency, few Steelers in the last decade have been as good as kicker Chris Boswell.

Since joining the team in 2015, Boswell has registered five seasons with 29 or more field goals made and 100 or more points scored. This past season, Boswell made 29 of 31 field goals and finished with 114 points.

As it stands, Boswell sits second in franchise history in field goals made with 231, behind franchise leader Gary Anderson, who sits with 309. In all, Boswell needs 78 more field goals to reach Anderson's mark. If Boswell is able to register at least 20 field goals each season, he can potentially reach this mark in a little over two seasons.

In terms of total points scored, Boswell also sits second in franchise history behind Anderson; however, at 969 points, Boswell needs 374 more of them to reach Anderson, a feat that could take more than three seasons to achieve.
