Player Description

Name: TreVeyon Henderson

School: Ohio State

Position: Running back

Class: Senior

Height: 5'10

Weight: 220 lbs

Draft Projection: Mid Day 2 to Mid Day 3 pick

Strengths:

  • Elite-level speed and burst

  • High-level athleticism

  • Explosive open-field runner

  • High football acumen and instincts

  • Excellent at changing direction

  • Strong lower body

  • Underrated receiving ability

  • Uses speed and physicality to break tackles

  • Elusive in open space

  • Great feet and lateral agility

  • Loose, flexible hips

  • Exceptional movement mechanics

  • Good gap vision; zone-flexible runner

Weaknesses:

The key factor that could determine whether Henderson can be a feature back at the next level is his durability. His injury history suggests he may be better suited for a system where he does not need to handle a high workload.

As a pass blocker, there are concerns with his pad level, hand placement, and overall technique. At times, Henderson can be indecisive about which gap to take, resulting in him getting trapped in the backfield and taking unnecessary tackles for losses. As a route runner, Henderson is rudimentary and lacks a diverse route tree; an aspect that has shown some improvement, but is far from being good enough at the next level
