Highly versatile, capable of playing both on the outside and in the slot.
Weaknesses:
For the most part, Morrison demonstrates strong skills with his hands; however, he occasionally has a tendency to grab opposing receivers more than necessary when shadowing. Although this has not resulted in frequent penalties, it could become an issue at the professional level.
Additionally, Morrison's lack of size and play strength may pose challenges against larger, more physical receivers. Weighing in at 185 pounds, he is vulnerable to losing physical battles along the route stem, despite his proficiency in closely shadowing opponents.
Another area of concern is his tackling. While Morrison has a solid understanding of proper angles, he struggles with finishing tackles effectively. During his sophomore year, he recorded a high missed tackle rate of 17.1%, which can be attributed to his overall poor technique. Despite his impressive coverage abilities, he will need to significantly address this weakness to succeed as a productive cornerback at the next level.
