The second day of Steelers training camp started the same way as Day 1: beautiful and sunny, with rookie linebacker Payton Wilson as the first player on field at St. Vincent College.
Today's training camp storylines include the first "seven shots" of the year, a cornerback who redeemed himself, and a quarterback who got his groove back.
So Steelers fans, let's go!

Steelers Camp Day 2 Recap
"Seven Shots" Is Back
In what has become a Steelers Camp tradition, the team completed their first 'seven shots' drill of the season, with the defense winning 4-3. DeShon Elliott recorded his second pass breakup of camp, while quarterback Justin Fields connected with receiver Van Jefferson for a touchdown. The drill concluded with cornerback Donte Jackson recording a pass breakup off a tip from All-Pro linebacker T.J. Watt.
Donte Jackson Had A Solid Day
Despite the touchdown conceded during 11-on-11s, cornerback Donte Jackson had a much better day, with two passes broken up, one of which was against receiver George Pickens in coverage. Jackson has been targeted frequently over the last two days and has performed admirably, with the exception of a few miscues.
Fields Found His Groove Late
After a slow start in the "seven shots" exercise, quarterback Justin Fields regained his groove and began making things happen during the team drill, recording back-to-back touchdown throws to receivers Calvin Austin III and Pickens. In the next play, he would find tight end Pat Freiermuth for a big gain. In the first two days, Fields has done an excellent job of developing chemistry with his pass catchers while also demonstrating efficiency and output in team drills. Though Wilson remains the team's starting quarterback, Fields isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
